The Journal of Agricultural Systems, Innovation & Sustainability (JASIS) is an open-access, single-blind peer-reviewed journal published online. The journal publishes original full-length research papers, review articles, short communications, technical notes, case studies, and perspectives. Its scope broadly encompasses interdisciplinary research in Agriculture and Allied Sciences, with a special emphasis on sustainable agricultural systems, technological innovation, and climate-resilient farming. The journal welcomes contributions in, but is not limited to, the following areas:
The Journal of Agricultural Systems, Innovation & Sustainability (JASIS) is a gold open-access, single-blind peer-reviewed journal. All published articles are freely and permanently accessible online immediately upon publication without subscription or access charges. The journal is committed to the unrestricted dissemination of high-quality scientific knowledge to researchers, academicians, students, extension professionals, policymakers, industry, and other stakeholders worldwide.
To ensure the highest standards of scholarly publishing, every manuscript undergoes an initial editorial screening followed by a rigorous single-blind peer-review process. Manuscripts are evaluated for originality, scientific merit, methodological soundness, ethical compliance, and relevance to the journal's scope before acceptance for publication.
The Journal of Agricultural Systems, Innovation & Sustainability (JASIS) does not charge any Article Processing Charges (APC). Manuscript submission, peer review, and publication are free of cost for all authors.
The Journal of Agricultural Systems, Innovation & Sustainability (JASIS) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and follows internationally accepted ethical principles in scholarly publishing. The journal expects authors, reviewers, and editors to uphold integrity, transparency, and professionalism by ensuring appropriate authorship, originality of submitted work, avoidance of plagiarism, duplicate submission, and data fabrication or falsification, disclosure of conflicts of interest, and adherence to ethical research practices. JASIS also reserves the right to publish corrections, retractions, or expressions of concern when necessary and encourages compliance with the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
The Journal of Agricultural Systems, Innovation & Sustainability (JASIS) follows a single-blind peer-review process to ensure the quality, originality, scientific rigor, and ethical integrity of published research. The review process is conducted as follows:
Each submitted manuscript undergoes an initial evaluation to verify its relevance to the journal's scope, compliance with submission guidelines, originality, and adherence to publication ethics. Manuscripts that do not meet these requirements may be rejected without external review.
Manuscripts that successfully pass the editorial screening are assigned to at least two independent expert reviewers with appropriate subject expertise.
The identities of the authors are disclosed to the reviewers, while the identities of the reviewers remain confidential. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, scientific quality, methodology, clarity, significance, and contribution to the field.
Based on their assessment, reviewers recommend one of the following decisions:
The Editor considers the reviewers' comments and recommendations before making the final editorial decision, which is communicated to the corresponding author along with the reviewers' feedback.
Authors are required to address all reviewer comments and submit a revised manuscript with a point-by-point response. Revised manuscripts may be returned to the original reviewers for further evaluation when necessary.
Once a manuscript satisfies all scientific, editorial, and ethical requirements, it is accepted for publication and published online as an open-access article.

The Journal of Agricultural Systems, Innovation & Sustainability (JASIS) invites researchers, academicians, scientists, industry professionals, extension experts, and postgraduate scholars to submit original, high-quality manuscripts for publication in the inaugural issue of the journal. Manuscripts are evaluated on the basis of originality, scientific merit, methodological rigor, relevance to the journal's scope, clarity of presentation, and contribution to advancing knowledge in Agriculture and Allied Sciences.
Acknowledge financial support, institutional assistance, technical support, or contributions from individuals who do not qualify for authorship.
Authors must disclose any financial, professional, or personal relationships that could influence the research. If no conflicts exist, please state: "The authors declare no conflict of interest."
Research involving animals must comply with the guidelines of the Institutional Animal Ethics Committee (IAEC) or other relevant regulatory authorities. Authors should provide approval details where applicable. Studies involving human participants must also comply with applicable ethical standards and informed consent requirements.
AI-assisted tools may be used only to improve language, grammar, or readability. Authors remain fully responsible for the originality, accuracy, interpretation, and integrity of their work. AI tools must not be listed as authors. Any substantial use of AI in manuscript preparation should be disclosed in the manuscript.
The Journal of Agricultural Systems, Innovation & Sustainability (JASIS) maintains a strict policy against plagiarism. All submitted manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software. The overall similarity index should normally not exceed 15%, excluding references and commonly accepted technical phrases. Manuscripts with evidence of plagiarism or unethical publication practices will be rejected.
Authors retain the copyright of their work. All articles published in JASIS are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence, which permits use, sharing, adaptation, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and the source.
