Prof. (Dr.) Yogesh Upadhyay, Vice Chancellor at ITM University, Gwalior and former Provost, ITM (SLS) Baroda University, Vadodara, boasts over 30 years of experience in teaching, research, and institution building. He holds the distinction of being the first recipient of the prestigious JRF (Management) from Jiwaji University, Gwalior, and has completed the FDP from IIM Ahmedabad. Additionally, he successfully undertook the LEAP program from NIEPA, co-sponsored by Harvard. For his best research paper, Dr. Upadhyay received the Best Business Academic of the Year Award at Osmania University in 2007. He has also completed programs on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) from WIPO, Geneva, and on Corporate Governance’ from the World Bank. His groundbreaking doctoral work focused on rural consumer behavior, and he has continued to showcase expertise in various domains, including consumer choice modeling, social media analysis, and human resource analytics. Dr. Upadhyay’s research, published in high-impact A-star and A category journals, demonstrates his commitment to advancing knowledge in the field. Furthermore, he has presented his work at prestigious institutions such as IIM Ahmedabad, ISB Hyderabad, and Harvard on an international platform. Proficient in analytical methodologies like SEM, PLS, Conjoint Analysis, Latent Modelling, and more, Dr. Upadhyay is dedicated to education. He has played a pivotal role in training over a thousand management educators in business analytics, supervised more than 35 scholars in earning their PhD degrees, and mentored candidates who received prestigious awards at national and international levels.
