IEEE YESIST12 (Youth Endeavors for Social Innovation using Sustainable Technology) is a prestigious global initiative that brings together young innovators to develop impactful, technology-driven solutions for humanitarian and social challenges.

The Grand Finale of IEEE YESIST12 August, 2026 will be held in Indonesia.

ITM University, Gwalior (MP), is proud to serve as a Pilot Institute hosting the Preliminary Round of this prestigious international event.

Round-1: - Abstract Submission

Eligibility

  • Team Size: Minimum 1, Maximum 4 Members
  • One participant can be part of only one team
  • Plagiarism at any form or at any stage is strictly prohibited
  • Work must be original and unpublished
  • The work can be a software solution or hardware integrated
  • Teams are expected to maintain professionalism, respect fellow participants, and follow IEEE Code of Ethics throughout the competition

Selection Process

  • All submitted abstracts undergo initial scrutiny by IEEE YESIST12 Prelims Jury.
  • Only shortlisted teams will advance to the Preliminary Round.
  • Notification will be sent to the Team Leader’s registered email ID.

Evaluation - Preliminary round

  • Teams will present their idea through a presentation and/or live demo (online or offline).
  • Evaluation will be conducted by an independent jury assigned by the IEEE YESIST12 team to ensure transparency and fairness.

Round 3: - Advancement to Grand Finale – Indonesia

Top-performing projects from the Prelims, along with exceptional projects identified by the IEEE YESIST12 team, will qualify for the International Grand Finale in Indonesia held in the Month of August, 2026. The IEEE YESIST12 team will directly notify selected teams via registered email.

Note: Selection at Prelims level does not automatically guarantee qualification for the Grand Finale. Final decision rests with IEEE YESIST12 committee.
