How to Apply

Eligible candidates can apply online to attend the convocation through the official ITM University Gwalior portal:

STEP-1 – Apply for Degree

Candidates who wish to participate in the convocation have to first apply for the degree after filling up the requisite form and pay applicable fee. The fee for application for degree is ₹1000/-. The link for the same is given below:

STEP-2 – Registration for Convocation

Once the above process is over, then the student is required to register for convocation using the following link:

Convocation Fee Details
  • ₹1400 if paid on or before October 27th, 2026
  • ₹1600 if paid after October 27th, 2026 and up to November 20th, 2026
  • ₹2000 for on-the-spot payment on November 21st, 2026
Note: The fee includes lunch and a Convocation Regalia Kit (Angavastram, Cap, Badge) that you can keep as a souvenir.

Registration opens on September 10th, 2026. In case the payment process remains incomplete due to certain exigencies, then the student may use the following link directly to pay the requisite fee for degree as well as registration. S/he has to mention their purpose of fee in the remark section:

Additional Confirmation Process for Ph.D. Scholars and Medal Recipients

Ph.D. Scholars and Medal Recipients: You must confirm your participation by sending an email to convocation2026@itmuniversity.ac.in or an SMS to +91-9301364900 (please avoid calling).

Deadline: November 19th, 2026, by 5:00 p.m.
Document Submission (For All Candidates)

All graduates, postgraduates, and Ph.D. students (who completed their degree by June 2026) must provide the following documents in person on November 20th, 2026:

  • Identification proof
  • Final semester original mark sheet (with a self-attested copy)
  • Proof of convocation and degree fee payment
  • For students who have already collected their degrees, please bring the original degree certificate.
  • Submission Timing: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Location: Dy. Registrar (Admin), PC Ray Block, ITM University Gwalior
Academic Dress Code for candidates (Male and Female)
  • Black trousers, a white shirt, and black shoes with a black belt.
    • OR
  • A simple white kurta with chudidar without any decorative work (such as embroidery or chikankari).
Rehearsal and Event Timing
Rehearsal:
  • Date: November 20th, 2026
  • Time: 2:00 p.m.
  • Venue: NAAD Amphitheatre, Sithouli Campus
  • o Please attend in your full academic attire.
Pre-Convocation Academic Conclave:
  • Date: November 21st, 2026
  • Time: 9:00 a.m.
  • Venue: NAAD Amphitheatre, Sithouli Campus
  • Please arrive and be seated by 9:00 a.m. sharp. Exiting the venue during the conclave is not permitted once seated.
Main Convocation Ceremony:
  • Date: November 21st, 2026
  • Time: 1:00 p.m.
  • Venue: NAAD Amphitheatre, Sithouli Campus
  • Please be seated by 1:00 p.m. sharp. Exiting the venue during the ceremony is not permitted once seated.
Mobile Phones and Photography
  • The use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited inside the venue.
  • Personal photography during the ceremony is not allowed. Official photographers will capture the event, and soft copies of the photos will be available online within seven days.
  • After the ceremony, 30 minutes will be allocated for group or individual photos.
Personal Belongings
  • Candidates may bring personal belongings, but only after they have been inspected and approved.
