Aims and Scope

ITM Journal of Sustainable Engineering and Innovation (ITMJSEI) is an open-access, single-blind peer-reviewed journal published online. The journal publishes original full-length research papers, short communications, technical reports, case studies, and review articles. To maintain the highest quality of published work, all submissions undergo an initial evaluation by the Editors. If deemed suitable, they are forwarded for single-blind peer review to ensure rigor, originality, and academic integrity.

Peer Review Process

The ITM Journal of Sustainable Engineering and Innovation follows a single-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and integrity of published research. The process is structured as follows:

Editorial Screening:

Initial check for scope, formatting, and ethical standards; out-of-scope or non-compliant manuscripts are rejected.

Reviewer Assignment:

Manuscripts are sent to at least two expert reviewers based on subject expertise.

Single-Blind Review:

Reviewers know authors’ identities, but authors do not know reviewers. Evaluation covers originality, methodology, clarity, relevance, and contribution.

Reviewer Reports:

accept, minor revisions, major revisions, or reject.

Editorial Decision:

Editors consider reviewer feedback and issue a decision with comments.

Revision & Resubmission:

Authors revise as needed; revised manuscripts may be re-evaluated.

Final Acceptance & Publication:

Approved manuscripts are published online open-access.

This process ensures that the ITM Journal of Sustainable Engineering and Innovation maintains high academic and ethical standards and provides a transparent, fair, and rigorous peer review experience for authors.
