Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC)

The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), an initiative of the Ministry of Education (MoE) through the MoE’s Innovation Cell (MIC) and AICTE, fosters a strong culture of innovation and entrepreneurship within higher educational institutions. At our university, the IIC serves as a structured platform that nurtures creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving among students and faculty. It supports the transformation of ideas into prototypes and scalable solutions through mentorship, resources, and continuous guidance. The council organizes workshops, seminars, hackathons, and ideation challenges to ensure consistent engagement throughout the year. It also builds a collaborative ecosystem by connecting students with industry experts, entrepreneurs, and innovation networks. The IIC promotes intellectual property awareness and integrates with R&D, incubation, and IPR cells to provide comprehensive support. This initiative enhances student opportunities, faculty involvement, and institutional recognition while contributing to a sustainable and impactful innovation ecosystem aligned with national priorities.
