Clubs at ITM University

At ITM University, we believe that student engagement and holistic development extend beyond the classroom. Our clubs are designed to foster active participation in extracurricular activities, providing students with opportunities to develop leadership, teamwork, and organizational skills. Through a diverse array of club activities, we aim to promote a vibrant and dynamic campus culture, encouraging students to explore their interests, discover new passions, and build lifelong friendships.

Our university hosts a variety of clubs to cater to the wide-ranging interests of our student body.

LITERARY CLUB

This club is dedicated to students sharing literary interests. The purpose of this club is to offer a relaxing and intellectual platform STUDENT LIFE@ITMU for students to exchange ideas, emotions and theories on selected reading through creative writing, debating and quizzing. The wall magazine is a reflection of the literary skills of the students. The editorial board of the University conducts regular competitions to encourage and enhance these talents

PERFORMING ART CLUB (ART, MUSIC, DANCE, THEATER, CULTURAL)

The Performing Arts Club aims to raise awareness of performing arts at the university and uncover and nurture students’ talents in music, art, dance, theater, and cultural activities. This platform encourages students to refine their skills and express their creativity. Members of the Performing Arts Club observe and learn the art creation process at various sculptor symposia held at ITMU and occasionally meet with artists and painters to discuss the intricacies of art. This interaction fosters a deep appreciation for art, enhancing students’ artistic discernment and sensibility. In music, club members not only attend classical concerts and rock shows but also form their own bands and showcase their talents at various events. They learn and practice different forms of Indian and Western dances, perfecting their performances. The theater aspect of the club is popular among aspiring theater artists and draws audiences from the city. Activities such as workshops and interactive sessions are organized to promote theater. Overall, the Performing Arts Club provides a comprehensive platform for students to explore and develop their artistic talents.

FILM CLUB

Film club not only shows good world cinema by organising international film festivals in the campus but also inspires students to create films on the issues of their choices.

SPORTS, YOGA AND MEDITATION CLUB

The Sports Club organises various sports events for both students and faculty members regularly. It also conducts Yoga sessions. An interesting space called “Zero Gravity” has been constructed within ITMU Campus for meditation & Yoga where any one willing to join the regular club can come and try to attain serenity of the mind & fitness of the body. Occasional activities to de-stress the students through Yoga & breathing exercises are also organized.

ITM University Gwalior has established a Science Club to organize various activities throughout the year. The objective of this is to stimulate interest in science activities among the students. The club provides opportunities to students to showcase their innovative ideas and creativity.

Theater club is well received not only by budding theater artists but also by the audiences and spectators from the city. Activities like workshops, interactive sessions etc. are organized to promote theater.

ECO CLUB

The club takes care of the ecological & environmental issues within the campus and suggests ways and means to reduce carbon emissions responsible for degradation and damage to the Earth’s ecosystem. A road map to convert the campus into green campus is prepared with the help of the eco club.

47 Mechanical Engineering AutoX Club (Automobile Innovation Club) This club will be having activities on Vehicle teardown sessions, Designing and building go-karts or e-bikes, Participation in BAJA, SAE, ISIE events, etc.
