School of Architecture at ITM University is dedicated to developing the sensitivity,
imagination and intellect for understanding and designing the built environment.
Architecture is an exciting discipline for those who have a penchant for aesthetics
and creativity with a desire to create real world environments. Students at the
School of Architecture are trained to pursue architecture as a humanistic and
professional discipline.
We intend to develop the school as a catalyst for changing the creative scenario
of architecture and design in the country. School of architecture at ITM University
actively engages practicing architects to steer the curriculum and academic
prowess of its faculty. Amongst our faculty are some of the prominent practicing
and acclaimed architects of the region.
Profession of Architecture
Architecture is an art of creating human environments. Through the design
process, an architect addresses the broader social, and cultural issues that
define our built environment. There is increasing recognition of architecture as
one of the most respected and intellectually fulfilling discipline. With growth in
Indian economy, the demand for architects in construction industry is constantly
growing. Architects are also increasingly in demand in various allied fields such
as interior design, city planning, urban planning, development consultancy etc.
